Eligibility Criteria for MVMT Scheme

- Applicants can be permanent residents of the Tamil Nadu State.
- The House of the applicant can be built or given under various government schemes like Indira Awas Yojana up to or before the 2000-01 financial year.

- There is no other PUCCA or concrete house available in the name of the applicant.
- The sold property and rented property do not get benefits under this scheme.

- So, first, the field verification has been done by the village- and block-level officers after visiting the local area to identify the damaged houses with the above-said eligibility Criteria.
- Then, for selection of the beneficiary in a transparent system, they do digital mapping and geo-tagging.
- After completing the verification, the final beneficiaries list is made of those who were verified under the scheme after following the eligibility conditions.
Verification and Survey
As per the latest information, applicants don’t need to apply under this scheme, there is survey and verification has been conducted by the Local officials. After completing the survey and verification, the selection of the candidates can be made directly if their house is available for repair under the scheme. The same site will be inspected by the Local Panchayat Officials and Block Development Authorities.
Financial Assistance and Instalment details
