TVK Vetri Payanam Thittam, Free Travel for Women in Government Buses

Tamil Nadu CM Vijay expanded the Vetri Payanam Thittam for Women. Now under this scheme, women can also travel in Deluxe, Express and LSS government Buses. This scheme will be effective form Gandi Jayanti (2nd October). This scheme is only for women, and there is no income criteria. Transgenders alos get the benefit of this scheme.

Vetri Payanam Thittam is a new scheme that offers free bus travel across the state of Tamil Nadu to women. This scheme has been implemented all over the state of Tamil Nadu, and free travel will be provided on all government buses. By which the women of the state to easily commute from one place to another in the state.

After getting the free bus travel benefits from the government, they can easily travel from one corner to any of the other places of their destination without any kind of burden. In another way, this scheme helps them financially, but by saving their daily bus travel expenses, women can save money for other uses.

TVK Vetri Payanam Thittam

This is the new scheme that was launched by the TVK Party for women in Tamil Nadu state. This scheme is going to replace the old Free Bus Travel scheme in Tamil Nadu for Women, i.e. Vidiyal Payanam Thittam Scheme. With this new announcement, there are so many new version are going to be added by the government. The government wants to make improvements in the old scheme and provide everything possible to the beneficiaries with the help of the Vetri Payanam Thittam.

• If any woman spends daily expenses for their bus travel according to their distance, then every women going to save at least 500 Rupees or more every month.
• This is the first scheme in which, to get the benefits, no need to fill out any kind of registration form online or offline.  You just need to show your residence proof using any government ID Card.

• This scheme covers every woman in Tamil Nadu to provide free travel benefits.
• The beneficiary can use any of the Tamil Nadu State Corporation bus services, like Express, Ordinary or Long Distance running buses.
• You may also need to wait for the official notification about this scheme.

• Any proof of residence in which your address is mentioned, like an Aadhaar Card, Voter Card or any other Card issued by the government.
• Maybe after some time, the government will issue the smart travel pass card for women. By using a single card, you can easily access the services of the scheme.

• There is no need to apply for this scheme by filling out a separate application form.
• Government going to offer the benefits of this scheme by just showing any government-issued identity proof of the women, like an Aadhaar Card and address, and also showing the same documents.
