The Ministry of Women and Child Development of India launched the scheme with the name of Mission Vatsalya Scheme. This scheme mainly focuses on the kids who are facing financial crises due to the loss of their parents. Under this scheme, the government provides financial support of Rs.4,000 per month per child. Which means, every kid per year received a total of Rs. 48,000. So now the state government of Andhra Pradesh has also implemented this scheme in the state to protect all the Children who are orphaned, destitute and vulnerable. Andhra Pradesh implement this scheme in the state in partnership with the Central Government of India.

This time, the government is accepting the application form from the eligible applicants to provide the financial support of Rs. 4,000 to the children of the state. All the children who are orphaned and destitute and are under 18 years old will be eligible to submit the application form. The amount will be given jointly by the state and central government.

Motive of AP Mission Vatsalya Scheme

By implementing this central government scheme in the state of Andhra Pradesh, the government wants to provide support to all the eligible children in education, nutrition and overall development of the same. By getting the amount per month, the lifestyle of the children can be changed and upgraded. The amount is directly given to the children every month in their bank account. As without parent, it is very difficult to survive alone, and the kids underage 18 years old are also unable to go and earn money for themselves. Children are the future of the State, so if the government support them in their difficult times, then after getting proper education and nutrition, they can become successful people.

  • Financial Support: Every deserving child gets monthly financial support of Rs. 4,000, which is distributed to the eligible children every six months, with an amount of Rs.24,000. Every year, they get Rs.48,000/-.

  • The kids who lost both parents, like Mother and father, i.e. orphaned Kids.
  • The children whose one parent lost like Father or Mother which is called semi orphans.
  • The parents who suffer from a critical life-threatening disease, their kids are also the beneficiaries of the scheme.
  • Kids of Divorcee Parent
  • Children of Acid Attack victim also eligible for this scheme.
  • Families in the state of Andhra Pradesh whose families always affected by natural disasters, their children are also added as eligible beneficiaries to receive the benefits.

Eligibility Criteria For Children

  • Children and their families are permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh.
  • At the time of applying for this scheme, the age of the child must be under 18 years.
  • Annual income of families belonging to rural areas of Andhra Pradesh must be Rs. 72,000, and for urban areas it must be Rs.96,000/-.
  • The kids who are getting or are enrolled on education in government schools or colleges will get special priority at the time of selection to provide financial support.

  • Birth and Aadhaar card of the Kid.
  • Death certificate of either parent or the parent who is no more.
  • Income certificate of the family as per their area, issued by the competent authority or department
  • Bonafide certificate of the Andhra Pradesh

  • Bank account details to receive the benefits linked with the Aadhaar card.
  • Medical certificate of the parent 

Benefits Given Under the Scheme

  • Monthly Support: Every kid who becomes eligible for this scheme will get monthly financial support of Rs.4,000/-.
  • Annual Fund: It means annually they get an amount of Rs.48,000/-.
  • Instalment: The amount is given to every eligible kid in two instalments. The instalment is released every six months with an amount of Rs.24,000/-.
  • Payment Mode: The payment is released in the bank account of the eligible kids through DBT System directly in their bank account.
  • Duration of Benefits: Every child will receive such financial assistance from the side of the government till they turn 18 years.

  • After checking the eligibility criteria, if you think that you are eligible for this scheme, then you can submit the application form by contacting your local Anganwadi centre or the Child Development Project Officer’s Office in your area.
  • So the government also urge all the beneficiaries to submit the application form on time to grab this opportunity.
  • After obtaining the application form from the same DCPU office, fill out the form and submit the documents with the form.
  • Submit form. Then the official verifies your eligibility, and after completing the verification, the amount is credited to your account.
