Annapoorani Super Six Scheme: TVK Promises 6 Free LPG Cylinders Per Year

Update: On 24th August, Tamil Nadu CM Joseph Vijay announced 3 free LPG cylinders for household women every year. This was a very big promise announced before the election ins State. Now the CM has fulfilled their promise, and this scheme will start from Pongal 2027. This scheme is announced with the name of Annapoorani Super Six Scheme. The amount of 3 free LPG cylinders will be credited into the beneficiary bank account. 1.30 Crore families will benefit from this scheme, and the government spends Rs 4000 crore annually for implementation.

To give love and respect towards all the mothers of Tamil Nadu who raised their kids and nurtured them, the new scheme is going to be introduced by the TVK, i.e. Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam. Title is given to this scheme is “Annapoorani Super Six Scheme”. This is a very good step taken by the new government of the state of Tamil Nadu. In this scheme, every family will receive the LPG cylinder free of Cost from the TN government. Every year, a total 6 (six) cylinders will be provided to each family. • The family head must be women, because the scheme is epically targeted the women of the state.
• Every eligible must be holder of Active LPG Gas Connection of any of the company like Bharat , Indane or HP Gas.
• Benefits also be set according to the economic status of the families of the state.
• All that families who are Income Tax Payer, Government employee are not going to be added in this scheme.

• ID Proof: To verify the identity of the Applicant, government required their government issued ID Card like Aadhar Card and Voter ID Card.
• TN residence Proof: For this verification you can submit your Ration Card, Electricity Domestic bill.
• Valid Gas Connection: After getting the valid connection, every LGP Gas Company issued the passbook, so you can submit the same.
• Economic Status: The economic status can verified with the income certificate or with Ration card also.

At present this is promise made by the government in their manifesto. Yet the government doing so many formalities and get ready for taking the decision to implement their new schemes in the state. So one by one they are going to complete their promises made with the citizens. So this scheme, government also take some time, but when they official launched, then you can start getting the benefits from this scheme.

• After the officially implementation of this scheme, government start verifying the eligible families for this scheme. May be the families have to registered with the portal issued by the government by using the documents.
