Eligibility Criteria

This is a proposed scheme in the TVK Manifesto, and everyone in Tamil Nadu is waiting for the official launch of this scheme. Right now, this is not officially released, and the complete eligibility criteria will be updated after the official notification. Eligibility criteria are mentioned below:-

• The applicant should be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu state.
• The applicant bride’s age should be at least 18 years, and the groom’s age should be at least 21 years.
• This benefit will be provided for the bride who belongs to economically weaker sections or low-income group families.
• The benefit of the TVK marriage assistance scheme is provided only for the bride’s family.
• Under this scheme, an 8-gram gold coin and a good-quality silk Saree will be given to the beneficiary girl.
• To take advantage of the scheme, the applicant’s annual income must be within the limit set by the TN government.
• The benefit of Annan Seer Thittam (TVK Marriage Scheme 2026) is only provided for the first marriage of a girl.

How to get the benefit of the TVK Marriage Scheme?

As we already discussed that TVK Marriage Scheme 2026 (Annan Seer Thittam) has not been announced yet officially. There is no official notification used by the Tamil Nadu government. All the eligible applicants who are waiting for this marriage assistance scheme have to wait for the official launch.

• The first step taken by the applicants is to collect all the documents 45 days before marriage.
• Collect all your documents like Aadhaar cards of Both Bride and Groom, all the required documents and certificates like Income certificate, Marriage Invitation card, etc.
• To apply for this scheme, you have to visit your nearest e-Sevai or CSC Centre with your documents.
• Apply to the centre and upload all your documents.
• When your application process is completed, your application will go into the verification phase.
• When the verification process is completed, then benefits will be given to the applicants.
