One of their popular scheme, the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme, which they started for students and their mothers. The main objective behind the launch of this scheme is that no child should drop out of school due to any financial crisis. In the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme, the Andhra Pradesh government give Rupees 15,000 every year to each eligible student. This financial support will be credited into the children’s mothers’ bank accounts through DBT. 13,000 rupees will be directly transferred into the mother’s account, and the remaining 2,000 rupees will be used by the school for maintenance, cleaning and other facilities. Objective of the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme

The main objective behind the launch of this scheme is to help students who are facing financial crises in their families. Sometimes families do not send their child to school because they do not have any money for school fees. Now the Government of Andhra Pradesh addresses this issue, and they start helping students and their families. Every Year govenrment provide 15,000 Rupees to each eligible student, and 13,000 will be directly credited into the bank account of the child’s mother, and the remaining 2,000 will be given to the school for school management, cleanliness, and other small works. This amount is only credited into the mother account by DBT. There is no middleman involved in this scheme. This will cover students from classes 1st to 12th. It will also help in improving school attendance and reducing the dropout rate.

Scheme Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants’ family income should be less than Rs 10,000 per month for rural areas and Rs 12,000 per month in Urban areas.
  • Families should not own any 4-wheeler.
  • No family member working in any government or PSU Job.
  • Applicant’s student attendance should be a minimum of 75% in the previous year.
  • Applicant’s family has all valid documents, like the Rice Card and the Aadhaar card of the mother. Bank passbook, Income certificate, permanent residence proof, caste certificate (if needed) and NCPI Seeding proof.
  • Students need their school ID Proff.

Registration Steps for Thalliki Vandanam Scheme

The registration for the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme is done by Schools and Government offcials itself. There is no need for much work by students and parents. You have to follow these steps to help complete your registration process.

  • Registration will start from the school in which the headmaster updates all the students’ data in UDISE or the Child Information portal. This is the most important step taken by the school.
  • After the Village or Ward Secretariat staff check and verify the students’ and their families’ details.
  • The next step is GSWS Field verification, in which government officials visit and then confirm all details like Family income, Rice card, etc.
  • Mothers need to link their bank account with Aadhaar-linked and NPCI-enabled. If this process is completed, you are eligible to receive payments.
  • When verification is completed, parents can check their application status on the NBM Portal.
  • After the final verification, the amount will be credited to the mother bank account.

Note: There is no separate online portal for registration. Also, there is no self-registration platform available. The whole registration is handled by school officials and secretariat staff. You just need to have all your documents ready when officials come for verification.

Thalliki Vandanam Scheme Release Date

The next Thalliki Vandanam financial benefit is expected to be released in the 3rd week of July. Some of the news portals release this date between 16th to 18th July. So now it is clear that there are only a few days left for the annual benefit.
