The same scheme targets women from the SC and ST categories, and they all will get modern agriculture technology training by the government. This scheme is known as the land purchasing scheme for Women of Adi Dravidar and Tribal Women of the state. All those women who belong to SC and ST categories and work as agricultural labourers and working in the land which is owned by other people will get financial help from the side of the government. Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a permanent citizen of the State of Tamil Nadu.

- The age of the woman can be between 18 to 55 years.
- The family annual income of the women is not more than 3.00 Lakhs.
- The applicant woman can be working as agriculture Labourer.
- The woman does not have any kind of land or property in their name.
Documents Required
- Copy of Aadhaar Card of the woman for her address and personal identity.
- Caste certificate showing that the woman belongs to the tribal caste and Adi Dravidian category.
- Family yearly income certificate.
- Women Bank passbook first page copy to received the financial aid of the scheme.
- Agricultural Workers certificate of the women; women can get the same certificate from the Village Administrative Officer.
- Documents related to the land which they are going to purchase or select by the beneficiaries with the complete details of the seller.
Subsidy Benefits and Conditions
- Every eligible woman will be eligible to get the 50% subsidy of the Total Cost of their project or 5 Lakhs, or whichever is lower. It can be based on the market value of the land.
- The land can be sold by different categories, including SC and ST.
- If you are going to purchase the wet land then it can be 2.5 Acres Maximum and for Dry Land it can be 5.00 Acres Maximum.
- In this scheme, the government is also providing full exemption from stamp Duty and Registration Charges.
- After purchasing the land under this scheme, the beneficiary woman is not eligible to sell this land for a period of 10 years.

AS we all know, the government recently presented this scheme in their recent budget. So there is no information about the website, and the guidelines of the scheme have not been issued by the government. So as soon as they launch this scheme, the same official notification is going to be uploaded on the concerned department’s official website, i.e. Adi Dravidian and Tribal Welfare Department, and also on the Social Welfare Department of the state.
