Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme: Sewing Machine Registration in Telangana starts on 15th August

Backward community women get the benefit of a free sewing machine under the Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme. This scheme was started on 15th August, and the last date to apply for this scheme is 15th September. Each machine value is Rs 12,000 with 100% subsidy to the beneficiaries. This scheme will empower backward community women. The scheme is introduced by BC Minister Ponnam Prabhakar. Under this scheme, 1.19 lakh automatic sewing machines will be distributed in the 119 assembly constituencies in the 1st phase. Approximately 1000 machines will be distributed in each constituency.

Government of Telangana is now planning to distribute sewing machines to the women who belong to the BC Communities of the state. That’s why they launched their new welfare scheme in favour of women with its official name, i.e. Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine. By launching this scheme across the state, a total of 1.19 lakh sewing machines are going to be distributed to women from minority communities across the state.

With the launch of this scheme, the government also opened its registration process, and they are going to accept online applications from 15th August to 15th September 2026. Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme

On August 13th, the government announced its Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme, which is also known as the Indiramma Sewing Machines Distribution Scheme. In this scheme, the government provided sewing machines to women who belong to the Backward Classes or Minority Groups of the state. The main motive for providing these sewing machines to these women is to make the women economically strong.

After getting the sewing machines, all women can use them for tailoring purposes and generate self-employment for themselves and earn income for themselves. A total of 1.19 lakh machines are going to be given to the eligible beneficiary women, and 1000 machines are allotted by the government to the 119 constituencies of the state.

Objective of Scheme

The main objective of the scheme is to employ all the unemployed women who are interested in tailoring. So that they can start their own self-employment. After getting self-employment, they can easily make money for themselves and become economically stable.

Women Who Can Apply?

• The applicant must be a woman and permanently residing in the state of Telangana.
• The primary eligibility is that women must belong to the BC Communities of the state.
• Applicant women must be unemployed and have an interest in tailoring.
• The annual income of the BC Category women in rural areas is 1.5 Lakhs, and in urban areas it is 2 Lakhs maximum.
• In each of the family, only one woman will be eligible to get the Machine.

In this scheme, priority will also be given to women according to their different categories like:-

1. Poor women
2. Single women of the state
3. Orphaned women
4. Homeless
5. Physically Disabled women
6. Who have experience in tailoring

• For financial status, ration card
• Category certificate is the most important document
• Photograph of the woman
• Tailoring training certificate if you have one
• Physically Disabled Certificate
• Or certificate showing your special category to get Priority.

How is the Selection of Women Made?

Government follow very strict process and transparency system to select the eligible women to get the sewing machines. There are also some other guidelines issued by the government for the selection of the women. After getting selected in the scheme, all the selected beneficiaries will have to undergo training to operate such machines.

If you are searching for its application form, then it is available on its official portal, i.e. tgobmms.cgg.gov.in. The application forms are accepted from 15 August to 15 September. So don’t be late and fill the form through the online mode. Below are the step-wise details as well.

• The application form for this scheme is accepted from 15th August to 15th September 2026 on the official portal, i.e. tgobmms.cgg.gov.in.
• On the home page of the portal, you get the application form link highlights with the red; click on it.
• Now the Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine Scheme Application Form is available in front of you; you have to fill all the columns that are highlighted with a red star.
• First have to enter the Personal details of the woman, like Name as per Aadhaar Card Record, Number of adhar, ration card number, area like Rural and Urban, father’s name, Income certificate details, Date of birth with annual income.
• Then put the details about your Gender, marital status, Category, Contact Number, Caste certificate, tailoring training centre, and lastly enter your qualification details.
• Fill in the Permanent address details.
• Now attach the documents and then accept the self-declaration and preview your application form.
• If all is good, then submit the same. 

Training under Scheme

The government does not stop after distributing these automatic machines, but the government also provide the operational training to all the eligible women. So that they can understand the features of the machines and start earning as soon as possible.
