Eligibility Criteria For SHP Hostel

• You can be the permanent citizen if the Karnataka State.
• The students only belongs to the SC, ST category  and minority communities are eligible.
• The distance between the Home of the students and their educational institution must be greater than 5 to 10 kilometres, so that the government can ensure that the benefits are given to the needy students.
• For Pre Matric Hostel, students from class 6th to 10th are eligible.
• If you want to submit the Post Matric Hostel application form, then students who are doing higher education like PUC, ITI, Diploma, Graduation, Professional degree and Post Graduation are eligible.
• It is also important for the students to have an account on the State Scholarship Portal; if you don’t have the same, then first create the account.
• The annual income of the family for SC/ST can be Rs.2.5 Lakhs per year, for OBC and OBC Minority must be Rs.1 Lakhs to 2.5 Lakhs per year.

How to Fill SHP Hostel Application Form

Create Account	First of all, students need to visit the State Scholarship Portal and then use your Aadhaar card and Valid Mobile number to get their student ID.

Fill Application Form	After that, the application form for your class level opens. Now you have to fill it by entering your personal details, academic details, parent information with address and then save.
Attached Documents	After filling in all the correct details, you need to scan your documents and then upload them with the form.
Submit	Finally, after checking all the details, you can submit the details and get your unique application ID. After that, you can track your application Status using the application ID through SMS and Login on the portal.
