Objective of Vetri Entrepreneurship Scheme
The main objective behind the announcement of the Vetri Entrepreneurship Scheme is to promote entrepreneurship. Unemployment is increasing day by day, and youth are not getting a job according to their qualification. Due to that, they have to do jobs at a very low salary. To tackle this problem, they have an option to start their own business and become entrepreneurs. But if they want to start their own business, the biggest problem they will face is financial assistance. Youth who do not have enough money to start their business then this scheme will help them for their startup. Under the scheme, the government guarantees collateral-free business loans up to Rs 25 lakh and helps young people to become entrepreneurs.
Features of the scheme
- Collateral-free business loan: to help people of Tamil Nadu to start their own business, the government will guarantee a collateral-free business loan of up to 25 lakh rupees. This Amount they can use to start their own business and grow in their life.
- Startup loans: In their election Manifesto tvk also promised that they will give 5 lakh rupees for the new startup alone and 25 lakh rupees for business loans.
- Support entrepreneurship: Their schemes TVK promised that they will aim to build 1.5 Lakh New entrepreneurs, who are supported by 500 specialised creative schools.
- Incentive on local hiring: Private companies operating in Tamil Nadu that hire at least 75% of their workforce from Tamil Nadu will get 2.5% Subsidy on State GST. They will also get a benefit on electricity bills in the form of a subsidy, and also get priority in government procurement contracts.
